Daily Times Monitor
LAHORE: Lawyers and the civil society will launch a protest movement if former president Gen (r) Pervez Musharraf is not tried under Article 6 of the constitution, a private TV channel quoted Justice (r) Wajihuddin as saying on Tuesday.
Addressing a gathering at the Karachi Bar Association, he said the judiciary was the prime target of the November 3 emergency. He said all those who had supported the former president should also be tried. He said Abdul Hameed Dogar was among those judges who were appointed on the basis of political affiliation.
